@reviewers
The idea of getting paid app for free sounds appealling to you? It may come true if you are an iOS savvy user and have some spare time. That's enough
App developers always want to have your your experience with their apps developed into good feedback and review. This will help them improve and promote their hard made apps. And life is quid pro quo, you will get something in return.
How to join
There is a sign-up form at the end of this page. After your registration, I will notify you when there is a campaign to review an app. By means of notification, you are offered a chance to get the paid app for free, or to earn some bonus if it's a free app. Each campaign requires only 5 reviews so first come first serve. You'd better be quick.
How it work
Paid apps
When a review campaign is opened, you will receive a link to a form. By filling this form you agree to deposit (via PayPal) an amount equal to the app price (maximum $2). I will keep your deposit and gift the app to you. You have some good amount of time to play with the app and write a quality review. I will check your review when it appears in the Appstore, then return the deposit back to you. At the end, you got the app without paying.
Free apps
When a review campaign is opened, you will receive a link to a form. By filling this form you agree to download, experience, and write a review about the app. I will check your review when it appears in the Appstore, then send you a bonus of $0.2.
Important Note
Either with paid app or free app campaign, each form only allows five submissions. Thus, if you are the sixth person to access the form, you might not be able to submit. If you fail to submit a quality review or your reviews have been deleted from Appstore for whatever reason, you will be out of the game.
What is a quality review?
A quality review must be at least 50 words, be relevant to the app content, be written in plain English, be unbias and somehow critical but yet constructive. Here is a good example of a quality review
A few years ago my sister bought an electronic toddler keyboard for her sons, at that time I though the toy was so helpful for the kids to interact with sound and characters. But I realize that the ipad can do it all, even better :)
My little loves to play with this app that she occupies the device all the time, I’m really happy to see her joy. This’s enough for 5*.
But from my view as an adult, there should be some improvements.
First, why the numbers are just available from 1 to 20? Lily asked me “Mom why stop at 20?” I think counting from 1 to 100 would be very interesting
Second, I think that the command “touch…” (like touch the cat, touch the oval, et.c) is really inappropriate. Instead we should use question form like “where is the cat, where is the oval, etc.” Don’t give command, give them love and affection please!
Third, giving small praise like well-done or terrific seems not enough. It would be perfect if there is a whole sentence in response like “well done, the cat loves the fish”. Then I bet many parents have a good time explaining why the cats love the fishes, and this is how you get the family closer via your app.Kayla
